Napa Valley Rammed Earth w/ Barn Siding

Halperin & Christ Architects of San Rafael, CA and their design team are completing a beautiful rammed earth and SIP panel residence in Napa Valley for the Weir Family (Owners and Operators of Hagafen Cellars Winery). I've included a photo of Eric Christ in front of weathered gray barn siding provided by Black's Farmwood, Inc. The project is still in progress, and battens will be added to the reclaimed barn boards in coming days. Eric says that the gray siding adds a perfect accent to the rammed earth walls.
