FLOORING / TRADITIONALLY MILLED / EUROPEAN WHITE OAK
European White Oak Flooring
|
European white oak flooring is defined by its live-sawn milling, wide plank scale, and the natural grain variation that comes from cutting the full width of the log. Flat grain, rift grain, and quartered figure appear across adjacent planks, along with spike knots, core pith, and the kind of movement conventionally sawn material rarely shows.
Our version uses domestic white oak milled in the European tradition and lightly fumed to deepen the wood's natural tones. The fuming process reacts with the tannins in the oak to create a warmer, richer color that reads more complex and dimensional than stain alone can achieve. The result is a floor that feels genuinely European in character while still being sourced and milled domestically. Available in wide plank widths up to 12 inches, solid or engineered, unfinished or prefinished. All finishes are Zero VOC. Engineered construction uses CARB Phase 2-compliant plywood throughout. |
