Grey brown barn siding occupies the middle ground between raw barn wood and fully weathered grey material. These boards have aged significantly but retain enough of their original brown tones to give the wood a warmer and richer appearance than siding that has weathered completely to silver grey. The result is a natural blend of grey and brown that varies from board to board depending on how each plank ages and what it was exposed to over its life.
Like our weathered grey barn siding, each board is sorted, de-nailed, kiln dried, and custom-milled to the profile required for the project. Available in shiplap, tongue-and-groove, and straight-line ripped profiles, it works well for both interior wall paneling and exterior siding applications. Variation in color, texture, weathering, and surface character is part of what gives installations their authenticity. No two walls look exactly alike, and the mix of grey and brown tones creates movement and depth across large surfaces that more uniform materials cannot replicate. |
