PANELING & SIDING / INDUSTRIAL DOUGLAS FIR
Reclaimed Industrial Douglas Fir Wood Siding
|
Reclaimed industrial Douglas fir siding comes from old-growth timber salvaged from warehouses, factories, and industrial structures built during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The material is re-manufactured from reclaimed beams and boards, producing siding with the density, tight grain, and warm brown patina characteristic of genuinely old Pacific Coast fir.
The aged surface is left intact, preserving the circular saw marks, surface oxidation, and natural color variation that developed over decades of industrial use and exposure. The result is warmer and richer in tone than weathered grey barn siding, with more pronounced grain and a depth of color that reflects the resinous character of old-growth Douglas fir. Available in shiplap, square-edge, and tongue-and-groove profiles for both interior wall paneling and exterior siding applications. |
