Natural weathered grey plank siding begins as new eastern hemlock and is weathered outdoors for two to three years until the wood develops a consistent silvery grey patina. Unlike antique reclaimed barn siding, where color variation depends on the age, exposure, and history of each individual board, this process creates a more uniform overall appearance while still retaining the natural character of real wood.
The result is a siding material that captures the look of naturally weathered grey wood with greater consistency and availability than reclaimed material can typically provide. The surface retains the natural grain, texture, and subtle movement of the hemlock, giving the siding an organic appearance that painted or artificially finished products cannot replicate. Available in shiplap, tongue-and-groove, and straight-line ripped profiles for both interior wall paneling and exterior siding applications. |
