PROJECTS / CASTLE RESIDENCE IN MARIN, CA

Castle Residence in Marin County, CA

In 2000, Black’s Farmwood supplied reclaimed wood for a residential castle in Tiburon, California. Working with general contractor Chuck Melin, we helped develop the material specifications and provided a range of samples for review. The final selections included reclaimed rough-sawn Douglas fir for ceiling decking, beams, and custom doors, along with rustic white oak wide plank flooring. The combination of these materials contributes to an interior that feels substantial and timeless, pairing historic character with refined residential design.
