PROJECTS / GLEN ELLEN MODERN FARMHOUSE
Glen Ellen Modern FarmhouseBlack's Farmwood collaborated with a homeowner from Glen Ellen, California, to construct a stunning modern farmhouse. She specified our Antique Hand-Hewn Beams in different sizes and lengths for the project. The beams were delivered to the job site, having been pressure washed, kiln-dried, and prepared for installation. She chose our Antique Reclaimed Rough Face Tobacco Barn Oak Wide Plank Flooring to contrast and complement the clean, modern interior design.
Here's a testimonial from Nicole Hoefer, the homeowner: “We were referred to Blacks Farmwood by our builder. We were in the process of building a new home in Sonoma County and we were looking for reclaimed beams and flooring. We met with Michael and saw samples of his products and were very impressed with the character and quality of the wood. We ended up going with reclaimed tobacco barn wood for our floors and we are beyond thrilled with the final product. We always receive compliments when people visit our home. One of the things we love most about this product is how tough it is. It is very hard to scratch or scuff this flooring and if we do, it’s almost invisible due to the varying characteristics of the floor. It looks rough and rugged but it’s comfortable on the feet. The floor is what makes our house what it is… We couldn’t be more happy!!” Interested in creating a similar look in your space? |
