Residence in Sonoma, CAFor this residence, Black’s Farmwood worked with the designer to create a bright, modern interior with carefully placed rustic elements. Antique grey barn siding was used on selected walls and ceilings, introducing texture and subtle color variation. The wide-plank flooring was made from European-cut white oak, then stained and finished on site to achieve the desired tone and sheen. The result is a calm, contemporary space enriched by the character of reclaimed material.
